The admissions process begin when parents start taking admission form. These form must be completed and submitted to the school before a certain stipulated date. After the stipulated date the school starts receiving completed forms, and publish the selected list of students.
The students can seek admission to the schools from any
part of the state, if seats are available. When the number of applicants are more than the number of vacant seats, the admission of children done by draw of lottery at entry level, i.e. in Nursery and from Class I and up to V for any interim vacancies. For classes above VI there will be screening test for new students and for interim vacancies, twice in a year. The entrance exam use to held by the schools using question papers prepared centrally by the Directorate of Secondary Education, Government of Tripura.
